Meet Patrick Spine  |  Founder of Blue Legacy Partners

Patrick is an accomplished Global HR Executive with over 25 years of extensive experience across diverse industries, including manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, technology, and insurance.  He holds both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in human resources.  He has held senior leadership positions in both private and public companies, with his most recent position for over five years with a publicly traded medical device company as SVP, Chief Administrative Officer.  Several of the other companies where Patrick worked included EATON, Hospira (now Pfizer), PRA Health Sciences (now ICON), and Accuray.  Patrick is well known for his operational mindset with expertise in Human Resources, his ability to drive organizational change, and his entrepreneurial spirit.  He is a proven and experienced trusted advisor to CEOs, C-Suite teams, and Board of Directors. 

 

Patrick shared, “EATON’s talent development and core operating philosophy for high performance growth enabled me to advance into elevated HR leadership roles.  I drove transformation at Hospira, led the HR function at PRA where the company grew from 4,000 employees to 15,000, multiple acquisitions, private equity change, and a successful IPO to my last company with Accuray in transforming the leadership and internal operating systems to position them for growth into the future.  These experiences are what Blue Legacy Partners now offers to other companies.” 

What's the Significance of the Name?

Patrick was blessed with an amazing father who was not only his best friend and life advisor but also a successful entrepreneur in real estate, insurance, and tax services. When he passed away from COVID in 2021 at the age of 81, he left behind a legacy built on simple yet powerful values—treating others with respect, sharing a smile, prioritizing family, maintaining integrity, and practicing financial discipline. These principles have guided Patrick throughout his life and continue to shape how clients will be served. Honoring his memory, the logo carries his first initial signature "Robert", as a tribute to his lasting impact. Patrick loves the color blue that brings emotions of trust, commitment, peace, and responsibility. Legacy is for everything that was given to Patrick and what a positive impact will be given to clients in the future. We are not just another consultant, we are truly partners with our clients.
